The Microsoft Essentials and Digital Awareness course is designed to equip kids and teens with essential skills in using Microsoft applications and fostering digital awareness. Students will learn how to effectively use Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for productivity tasks, Critical Thinking and Digital Citizenship while also gaining an understanding of digital literacy, online safety, and responsible digital citizenship.


Course Objectives

Develop proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Understand the importance of digital literacy and responsible online behavior. Learn strategies for staying safe and secure in the digital world. Develop critical thinking skills for evaluating digital content. Foster an awareness of digital ethics and responsible digital citizenship

Prerequisite

Basic computer literacy skills are recommended, but no prior experience with Microsoft Office applications is required.
